Exhibition bird biosecurity video now available for viewing
A biosecurity video for exhibition birds has been produced in partnership with RIRDC, QDAF and exhibition poultry groups. The video provides an overview of what to consider when managing poultry at exhibitions, as well as in the lead up to shows to minimise the risk of disease and its potential spread. It will be beneficial for groups and individuals who exhibit poultry and other birds, have backyard poultry, are breeders of poultry or are involved in live bird sales.
With the start of the 2017 show season upon us, the release of the Exhibition Bird Biosecurity video is a timely reminder of the importance of biosecurity when bringing birds together from various locations. The video can be viewed from the following link on YouTube.
