Welcome to another edition of eChook.
For those of you involved in poultry research with one of our research partners, I must inform you that the Poultry CRC Board has decided to postpone the next call for research proposals to late 2011.
This is because:
- most of the 2009 research projects are still with our partner organisations for signing;
- proposals arising from five workshops (Gut Microflora, Environment, Biochar, Net Energy and Campylobacter) are yet to be finalised, and
- a number of proposals have been on hold, a process which will have to be concluded.
In the meantime, the CRC will carefully consider its programs with regard to projected outputs against budget and identify gaps in our research and education activities that will require filling.
