Apprenticeships provide a pathway for people to gain a nationally recognised qualification while working, experiencing on the job training and mentoring. It’s a great way to combine education with work and get paid while you learn. Australian School Based Apprenticeships allow for students to undertake a traineeship from as early as year 10, while they are still at school.
