Open Funding Call | Poultry Hub Australia (PHA) will fund a number of research projects, as part of PHA’s Industry Research Funding. The aim of the call is to encourage scientists to engage with industry and work together to develop innovative, applied research projects with the objective to solve problems faced by the Australian poultry industry. | Applications closed for 2022.

Researcher in Industry | Placements for Australian based poultry researchers to spend time in industry with the aim to develop industry connections and research ideas. | Accepting applications. Contact poultryhub@une.edu.au for an application form |
Researcher Training Scholarship | For Australian based poultry researchers to undertake training that refines or develops skills relevant to producing and extending research outcomes for the poultry industry in Australia. | |
PHA Travel Scholarships | Travel grants that can be used for international or domestic travel to present and attend a poultry relevant conference. Available for Australian based researchers currently receiving funding through PHA, Agrifutures (Chicken Meat) or Australian Eggs programs. | |
Workshops | PHA facilitates many different workshops throughout the year, both face-to-face and online. | |
PoultryGrad | PoultryGrad is a program for poultry PhD, Master’s and honours’ students based in Australia. This program enables participants to participate in a poultry industry field experience and workshop. | Applications closed for 2022. |
Undergraduate placement scholarships | Scholarships are available for undergraduate students based in Australia to engage directly with industry. The scholarships facilitate an industry placement directly on farm or within a poultry business. | |
Undergraduate research scholarships | Scholarships are available for undergraduate students based in Australia to engage directly with university researchers. The scholarships enable students to gain first-hand experience of poultry research conducted at Australian Universities. | |
Honours Scholarships | Scholarships are available for undergraduate honours students studying either Agriculture, Animal Science or Veterinary studies at an Australian University, with a focus on Poultry. |
